Events Team Volunteers
Could you be the next member of our Events Team? Can you engage the general public at events, raising awareness about the wonderful work we do at YMCA Bournemouth? We’re looking for motivated people with a passion for talking, willing to muck in as part of the team to put on events that raise awareness of what we do and to fundraise for our services. Help needed setting up and packing away, engaging with the public, running or helping with activities for children (eg. making things, colouring, face painting). We’d really appreciate your help! Up and Coming Events – We need you!
- YMCA Sleep Easy Events
- Outline: We have 50-100 people sleeping rough for one night to raise money to support the homeless
- Why we need volunteers: Help on the night with registration, shelter building, night time activities

To support the YMCA Bournemouth Chaplain in delivering spiritual support, pastoral care, and moral guidance to the organisations staff, volunteers, clients and their families. To help run and develop missional opportunities that connect with groups and individuals that are linked to the organisation.

Volunteer Fitness Instructor (The Junction, Broadstone)
Do you have or are working towards your Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification? We are looking for self-motivated, approachable volunteers with great communication skills to join our team and gain valuable experience and training. Help us deliver inductions, make customers feel welcome, and maintain equipment and machines.
