YMCA Bournemouth is thrilled to announce that applications are now open to take part in its fundraising Tandem SKY Dive event, which will be held at GoSkyDive in Salisbury on 15th June 2025.
For over 145 years, YMCA Bournemouth has been a cornerstone of the community, providing essential services in Accommodation, Youth Work, Family Work, Health & Wellbeing, Training & Education, and Support & Advice.
Over the last year, YMCA Bournemouth has delivered significant positive change, including:
- Supporting and housing 184 individuals
- Providing over 54,000 meals
- Hosting 1,250 counselling sessions
- Offering 590 hours of support to 75 young disabled people through the Chatterbox project
- Engaging over 125 young people weekly in youth clubs
- Facilitating over 5,185 days of volunteering through its young volunteers
- Serving more than 6,000 members across its leisure establishments
They have provided safe and stable accommodation for those experiencing homelessness, empowered young disabled individuals to enhance their independence and well-being, and engaged young people in meaningful, life-enriching activities.
Funds raised from the Tandem SKY Dive will directly support YMCA Bournemouth’s youth clubs, helping to provide vital resources and opportunities for young people in the community.
