Located on Jewell Road next to Jewell Academy, the children’s centre provides a range of activities and support for children and families who live in the Townsend, Throop and Muscliff area.
Regular activities include:

Experienced staff are on hand to deal with queries. We can provide information, help and advice for parents and carers with regards to a range of subjects including:

- Returning to work
- Housing needs
- Special needs support services

Townsend Children’s Project
In a separate venue in the same area, YMCA Bournemouth’s Youth Department runs the Townsend Children’s Project, an exciting project designed for children aged 5-13 years old that’s based at Townsend Youth Centre.
