The Goods Yard pub in Broadstone will donate 50p for every Junction Burger sold to The Junction Leisure Centre

The Goods Yard pub in Broadstone has been recently re-opened as part of the Fired Up Collective.

Since its inception in 2020 the Fired Up Collective (FUC) has become one of the fastest growing boutique restaurant groups in the UK.

The Goods Yard is a beloved pub in the heart of Broadstone, known for its excellent selection of local ales, beers, and ciders, as well as its elevated pub classics menu. Their location, in the historic old Railway Hotel near the famous Castleman’s trail, makes them the perfect stop for travellers and locals alike.

Andy Lennox, CEO of the Fired Up Collective, has chosen to support the Junction (part of YMCA Bournemouth) as one of the Collectives charitable partners.

Andy Lennox said, “We believe in the Collective supporting local charities and choosing the Junction was an easy choice. They provide excellent leisure facilities for the local population and are at the heart of the community. They are not just a place to go and get fit, but it is also a place for the community to come together. It therefore gives me great pleasure to donate 50p from each Junction Burger sold to the Junction. We look forward to welcoming the Broadstone community to The Goods Yard very soon.”

In response, Martin Stockley, Senior Operations Manager of YMCA Bournemouth said:

“The support of local businesses, groups and individuals in Broadstone for the YMCA operated Junction Sports & Leisure Centre, is always greatly appreciated. It means that the Centre can continue its ongoing improvement programme for the community it proudly serves, and in turn this means our local, and positive, impact increases. Our sincere thanks is given to Andy, and the Goods Yard team, for this innovative approach to the support of YMCA.”
