The Chatterbox Project is our youth action project run by young people with disabilities aged 11-25 years old from Bournemouth, Poole and further afield in Dorset. The main aim of the project is to raise awareness of disabilities and create a community which is equal for all whilst being surrounded by friendship and laughter… a lot of it!
The Chatterboxes’ Summer magazine is out now! Crammed full of interesting articles showcasing all the wonderful Chatterbox adventures which have taken place over the last three months. These include:
– Our first ever Chatterbox Camping Trip with the RSPB
– Presenting at the Bournemouth Young Volunteer Awards and meeting the Mayor of Bournemouth.
– Various awareness-raising workshops and events carried out in local schools and in the wider community.
– Our visit to a local farm.
