Townsend Youth Club

Open-Access Sessions – Thursdays

Townsend Youth Club offers weekly open-access sessions for young people aged 11-16 years on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8.00pm

The project aims to engage young people in meaningful activities in their own community. Where they have a safe space to have fun, meet with friends, learn new skills, have a voice, be listened to, where they can find their purpose and value, with support from our Youth Team.

Activities include:

• Sports
• Team Games
• Board & Card Games
• Arts & Crafts
• Cooking
• Music
• Pool
• Table Tennis
• Gaming

There is no charge for sessions, joining is simple and just requires a parent or legal guardian to complete a registration form: Word Document or PDF version

Townsend Youth Centre, situated near Castlepoint shopping centre, offers a range of rooms and facilities for hire including a bright, open-plan area with sofas and a pool table and kitchen facility.

Townsend Children’s Project

Townsend Youth Centre also provides sessions for younger children aged 5-11yrs provided by members of the community through the Townsend Children’s Project.
