The Big Sleep Easy
17th November 2018 @ 6:45 pm - 18th November 2018 @ 8:00 am
On Saturday 17 November, we are holding the largest outdoor Sleep Easy event the town has ever seen.
We are inviting individuals, groups and companies to help us combat local homelessness and support our efforts enabling homeless individuals to return to independent accommodation and a positive long-term future.
On the evening of The Big Sleep Easy, participants will build shelters out of cardboard boxes, wrap up warm and then sleep outside for the night in a community effort to help combat local homelessness.
We’re encouraging you and/or your team to ask your friends, family and customers if they will sponsor you to spend a night in the cold – protected only by your cardboard shelter, sleeping bag and determination! – for the sake of a good cause.
How much could you, or you and your team, raise by spending an evening out under the stars?
A big ‘thank you’ to the local organisations already taking part:

Businessman Mehdi Zadeh, owner of the Tiien Hotel and Restaurants, was supported by us when he lost a previous business and found himself homeless.
“YMCA Bournemouth gave me a sense of family, talked to me, advised me, arranged courses and gave me the space to unravel what happened. I had a place where I was safe.
