YMCA Bournemouth is raising funds to maintain our FREE counselling service, to improve the health of our beneficiaries who are experiencing overlapping dimensions of inequality. Our Counselling service began in 2015 and has been operating in-house ever since. In 2022 we supported 155 individuals.

  • Vulnerable homeless individuals
  • Disadvantaged young people and their families
  • Disabled young people and their families

Our FREE service reduces barriers, provides better access, swifter support, and de-stigmatizes mental health support -whilst materially transforming people’s lives. Our ambition is to break the link between poor mental health and poverty.

Thanks to the generosity of The Big Give Trust, all donations will be matched £1 for £1.
So, if you donate £500, the Big Give will match it with a £500 donation = £1,000.
One donation, twice the impact.

Our fundraising target is:

£10,000

Please help us Via The Big Givefundraising platform.

“Being guided with compassion and in a safe space allowed me to see things differently and now my life is changing positively.” - I got so much more from this than I ever imagined and made me realise its ok to be kind to myself.
